Science Parks of Southern Denmark complies with the Personal Data Regulation and acts as both data controller and data processor

When you, as a person, apply to us, we collect, record, store and use your personal data solely for the purpose of operating Science parks of Southern Denmark in accordance with its articles of association.

As a starting point, we only process ordinary personal data such as your name, address, email and phone number. Agreements can be entered into subsequently that require your COR  number, photos, bank details and licence plate.  We share your information with selected data providers with whom the necessary data processing agreements have been concluded. Science Parks of Southern Denmark  deletes your data within 5 years after completion of dialogue or activity with Science Parks of Southern Denmark. The period is shorter in some cases.

Employees and IT managers of Science Parks of Southern Denmark have access to data. When employment is terminated, the former employee will on longer have any access.

Third parties with access to cookies

- Morning Train

Morning Train ApS is a third party web agency associated  with Science Parks of Southern Denmark. Morning Train only has access via an encrypted portal called Lastpass.

Lastpass is highly encrypted with algorithms that provide complete security in the cloud. Data is encrypted at unit level and is kept secret for LastPass itself. Only Morning Train employees have access to this data therefore. With two-step verification, this service is made even more secure. When employment is terminated at Morning Train, the former employee will on longer have any access.

- Morning Train also has access to data from Google Analytics – this is used exclusively for statistics and reporting.

- The site is hosted by time4vps, which is located in Latvia

How long will data be saved for?

Server logs will be saved for 14 days after which they are deleted. Server logs include the IP address, pathway and any errors that occur. This information is used solely for troubleshooting and traffic analysis.

Info from the contact form will be saved for 14 days after which it is deleted.

Data is saved in Google Analytics for 50 months and is used for internal statistics and reporting

What we do to keep data secure

With an SSL certificate held by our hosting provider, we ensure through SSL encryption that all data passed between individual web browsers and servers is kept secure, private and integral. By means of SSL, we therefore ensure that all data remains private.

Procedure in the event of system failure or hacking

If it is believed our website may be hacked, customers will be informed about this. Likewise, customers will be informed of any leaked data and the extent of this. In this process we are working hard to solve the error and ensure that it does not happen again.

Rights relating to personal data:

You have the right at all times to (1) access your personal information, (2) correct your personal information if it is incomplete or incorrect, or (3) delete your personal information. You also have the right to request that processing of personal information is suspended, cf. applicable legislation. If we have obtained your consent for processing your personal information, you are entitled to revoke your consent at any time. You also have the right to object to the processing of your personal information, including opting out of it being used for direct marketing.

Video surveillance in Videnbyen

Video surveillance is used at the entrance and communal areas in Videnbyen for crime prevention purposes. The surveillance is signposted clearly. Surveillance is not disclosed unless criminal acts are suspected. Video recordings are automatically deleted after 30 days unless there is a dispute.
